BOOK LAUNCH

We are pleased to host, at this Auction, the launch of Dick Furness’ and Dave Brennand’s spectacular new book “The Book of British Railway Totems”. (See advert in this catalogue). Both authors will be present to sign your personal copies. Published in a similar hardback, landscape format to Greg Norden’s book on Carriage-prints, it adds further to the academic research into Railwayana and will take totem-collecting to an even wider audience.

TOTEM DISPLAY

We shall be hosting a display of totems at our June Auction. It will be of totems with something in the bottom panel. You are invited to bring for the exhibition any such totems you may have in your collection, a receipt will be issued, and removal can be made at any time during the Auction. It is being co-ordinated by Chris Rider, the co-publisher of “Totem Exchange”. Please contact her beforehand on 01952-770199 so she can do the advance planning, and avoid duplication.
